Converse designed by Gorillaz

Like every season, Converse not surprising wanted to make one of those unexpected collaborations for this newly released 2012: after launching the original designs hand of one of 50, DC Comics and even Marimekko, the brand has now decided to launch a collection designed by one of the bands more popular in recent years: Gorillaz.

The collection has been created by Jamie Hewlett, Designer and co-creator of the popular ‘Virtual band’ (So ​​called) who is now serving 10 years since its first debut album.

Hewlett This was inspired by some of the themes and motifs that might bind more Gorillaz, and any of the models is very clearly inspired by his particular style and vision (memory do any of your music and give us reason): All Star traditional stain very different prints ranging from animation drawings that meet the band (I do not know recognize the flesh and blood components) to the military prints.

The collection comprises a total of four designs different type shoes three high-top and only a low cut (below the ankle). The first version are smooth gray exterior and interior symbol stamped in version camouflage green or a fun print black and white animated with some of his legendary characters, low shoes, meanwhile, also have the pattern of these sinister characters but this time drawing layouts (not painted) in full color.

Most of them also feature original prints on the inside of the shoe. These shoes are part of the collection for the next spring-summer and will be sold at a price around 90€.
