The answer is yes, many models do get slippery. Crocs are mixed when its comes to water. They don’t absorb as much water and dry a lot faster than regular shoes. But your socks are exposed, meaning they’ll get wet in the rain. Therefore, unless you’re going sock-less and walk carefully, Crocs aren’t the best shoes for wet environments. You can take several precautions from this being a big issue.
Be Careful

If it rains heavily, there might be large puddles in your area. This is especially true in rural areas. Try just walking on the road or sidewalk, where you can easily spot and avoid the puddles.
For at least a few days, you’ll want to avoid activities like walking on trails. If it’s a heavy storm, there are going to be puddles everywhere. Not only will your Crocs and socks get wet but mud will get on them as well.
Vacation
If you’re going on vacation, be sure to bring an extra-pair besides your Crocs. It would be bad to spend a few days or a week on vacation and having poor footwear for the occasion. Most luggage will be able to fit a pair of shoes.
Resistant to Water
Now for a positive about Crocs. Many types of shoes absorb water and even get damaged by it. For example, untreated leather shoes will likely be ruined if they get wet. Sneakers that get soaked will be wet for days.
Crocs, on the other hand, are made of advanced polymer known as Croslite. It simply does not absorb water. Even if it gets totally soaked, only a limited amount of water will be on the surface. It’ll dry far quickly then other types of shoes, which are more absorbant.
